I just found this picture on the Black Milk website, and thought it was quite a genius shoot. Not to mention, a super swimming costume!

Forget Arm-Candy
A few little Christmas treats; classics that are just totally awesome little trinkets. This post is dedicated to lusty wrist candy. Now I'm not really a watch person, but these two watches- opposite styles- would even get me to slip my hand through their gorgeous straps and wrap around my wrist. The first of which, Franck Muller Crazy Hours, and Coloured Dreams watches. Now, I know these bad boys aren't exactly breaking news, and have been around for a while, but that doesn't decrease the wow-factor these bad boys create. I don't know how these beauties work, probably some crazy witch-craft mechanism, but the guys who created them are pretty genius. The reason I love these collections just emphasize the genius that is Franck Muller, and they approach a beautiful classic watch, however, adds a quirky feature. And the great thing is that you can totally befuddle other people trying to get the time off you. I find it especially confuses the those who are intoxicated. How fun is this video! (above?)
The other beautiful little time piece comes from a brand called Mutewatch. Tracking these bad boys down to actually rough handle them, give them a test drive, wasn't too easy. However, coincidentally, the only UK retailer happened to be just near one of my uni campuses, so I decided to pop in and check out the goods. A totally contrasting aesthetic, the Mutewatch caters for the techno lovers. A totally futuristic look, the Mutewatch displays digital time that illuminates when you tap the screen, or at a shake of the wrist. Just tell me that this beauty doesn't make your heart race.

Black Milk Lovin'
And to just get this catch-up post out of the way, these guys are awesome. That is all.
Here are some visual treats brought to you from their collection, via me. Quirky printed lycra goodies? I say; love your legs with these statement leggings!
...Picture placement still needs a bit of work....
Rick Owens' Cozy Goodies
Off to a blazing start, the first few posts of mine will be little catch up morsels of goodness. Over the few months there have been so many things out there which I've become pretty obssesed over, so I guess over the next few days I may just blog them right out of my system in bitesize portions.
As Christmas is swiftly approaching, I'm getting pretty excited about the whole giving/recieving (I have to say, I am a little more excited about the giving, but my presents may get unwrapped quicker than Louboutin's Duvette's sold out when they graced December's cover of Vogue). So my anticipation of Santa Claus bringing me a surprise on Christmas morning died when my mother told me to pick something, not too expensive, out for myself. Trawling the shops, I happened to come across what Rick Owens has to offer in stores at present (I know what you're thinking; "Budget, Leuty!", but my rants do come full circle, I promise). Concerning colour palette, it's pretty standard for Rick Owens; greys and blacks, but concerning cut on some of the pieces, these are something a little special.

For example, this bad boy (left). A cashmere, black turtleneck is a classic wardrobe staple, but Rick Owens unique twist incorporates an edgy cut with wings at the hips, to this winter must have, which would look incredible over a pair of jeans, or perhaps a silk print skirt (enter Dries Van Noten). Extra long sleeves makes for extra cosiness for your hands and wrists, and the ribbed detailing is subtle but effective. Browsing Owens' collection on the net shows off these highlights, but what makes this collection so special, is the fabrics. This cashmere feels just like you're stroking God's tail.Other jersey pieces are soft to touch, featuring its fare share of cashmere and wool and silk mixs, which are brilliant for layering in these colder months. And if, like me, you cant afford the £900+ price tags for the more substantial knits, an array of cotton jersey tank tops and dresses give that brilliant edgy Rick Owens look that you can layer, that feel divine and start from £135. So I happened to nab myself a beautiful cotton jersey tank dress in black for my stocking, woohoo!
Ahoy-hoy
So; here is my first humble little post to my first humble little blog. Being a blog virgin, I am not entirely sure how to introduce this, my own personal space on the Internet. So I'll keep it short.
My name is Leuty Parker; Fashion student and enthusiast, waitress, artist, maverick, adventurer, although, in general, I don't like to define my professions as they can reach into all areas. I've started this blog to express all my various findings that inspire me; my passion is fashion, and I think that the designer can incorporate all their interests into their design process. So to my readers, I hope my train of thought, although hectic, will excite and inspire you too. Another reason for this blog, not only for you guys, is to document my own style path. My multi-faceted personality is married with a multi-faceted style, so to document this will hopefully help me refine and define it. So to all my fashion zealots, and future readers, enjoy!
